By making that flow measurable and visible, organizations can identify where value delivery slows down, uncover waste and dependencies, and make evidence-based decisions about where to improve.
What metrics will I learn to use?
You’ll learn how to calculate time-based metrics for material and information flow and use them to better understand what is happening within a value stream.
The course also covers determining which Key Performance Indicators the Product Owner Team should monitor, helping connect process improvement with measurable outcomes.
How does Value Stream Management work with Scrum?

Do I need previous Value Stream Management or Scrum experience?
No. There are no prerequisites for this course.
The course provides a foundation in Value Stream Management while connecting the concepts to Scrum and real-world product development and delivery.
What are the benefits of the Registered Value Stream Management credential?
Your RVSM credential formally recognizes your understanding of Value Stream Management, including current- and future-state mapping, flow measurement, waste identification, dependencies, and the techniques used to improve how value moves through an organization.
Credential holders are authorized to use the Registered Value Stream Management™ badge and are eligible to be featured in the International Registry of Agile Professionals™.
What do I need for class?
For live remote courses, you’ll need a computer, reliable internet connection, and access to Zoom with video and audio.
For in-person courses, there’s no formal dress code. Most attendees wear business casual, and jeans are fine. We recommend bringing layers so you can stay comfortable throughout the training.
When does the course begin?

For participants seeking to earn the credential, you cannot miss more than 2 hours of the course. Be sure to note the time zone and set your calendar reminders appropriately.
What if I need to transfer to a different date?

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel at least two weeks before the class start date to receive a full refund. After that, we can move your registration to another date or give you credit toward a future class.
