What will I learn in the Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner course?
You’ll learn how to apply Scrum and Lean principles when work extends beyond a single team, including how to coordinate teams, align priorities, plan releases, remove organizational impediments, and measure performance at the enterprise level.

What is Scrum@Scale?

Do I need previous Scrum experience to take the RS@SP?
Previous Scrum experience is strongly recommended. We recommend completing a Scrum Master course or having comparable real-world experience implementing Scrum.
Product Owner training is encouraged but not required. We also recommend reading the official Scrum@Scale Guide before class.
How do I earn the Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner credential?
To be eligible for the credentialing exam, you must complete at least 14 hours of live instruction covering all RS@SP Learning Objectives with a Registered Scrum@Scale Trainer™ (RS@ST).
Pass the exam and you’ll earn your Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner™ credential.
What are the benefits of the Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner credential?
Your RS@SP credential recognizes your knowledge of applying Scrum and Lean principles across multiple teams, coordinating work at scale, removing organizational impediments, and building a Minimum Viable Bureaucracy.
Credential holders are also authorized to use the Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner badge and are eligible to be listed in the International Registry of Agile Professionals™.
Does this course count toward PMI PDUs?
MPs can receive 16 PDUs for our courses, and 1 PDU for every hour spent taking our online courses.
Scrum Inc. is not a pre-approved PMI education provider, but your time spent at our courses can be claimed as PDUs. To learn how to claim your PDUs, visit the How to Submit PDUs for Courses & Training page on the PMI website.
What if I have to leave for part of the training?
If you’re seeking the RS@SP credential, you cannot miss more than two hours of the course.
What do I need for class?
For live remote courses, you’ll need a computer, reliable internet connection, and access to Zoom with video and audio.
For in-person courses, there’s no formal dress code. Most attendees wear business casual, and jeans are fine. We recommend bringing layers so you can stay comfortable throughout the training.
When does the course begin?
Start times vary by course and schedules are listed on each course registration page. Check the specific course you’re interested in for the start time and time zone.
What if I need to transfer to a different date?
No problem. We can move you to another class or transfer your registration to another person. Contact our training team at education@scruminc.com and we’ll help you make the change.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel at least two weeks before the class start date to receive a full refund. After that, we can move your registration to another date or give you credit toward a future class.
