Scrum Master training focuses on the Scrum Master role and helping a Scrum Team apply Scrum effectively.
RAC extends into the broader discipline of coaching, including developing your personal coaching style, working with individuals and leaders, facilitating productive conversations, recognizing organizational dysfunction, navigating change, and measuring the impact of your coaching.
Is the Registered Agile Coach program a hands-on course?
Yes. RAC is built around real-world application. Over five days, you’ll observe real teams, step into live coaching situations, and put the techniques you’re learning into practice.
As you coach, Scrum Inc. trainers observe your approach and provide real-time feedback, helping you understand what worked, where you can adjust, and how to strengthen your coaching. You’ll then have opportunities to apply that feedback as you continue coaching throughout the program.
This cycle of observing, coaching, receiving feedback, and applying what you learn helps you build practical experience and refine your approach before bringing it back to your own teams and organization.
