Scrum Master - This course is an introduction to the Scrum framework and is ideal for anyone interested in learning how to get started with Scrum. The first part of the class covers the basics, while the second half focuses on the Scrum Master role.

Scrum Product Owner - Our Product Owner course views the scrum framework through a business lens. In addition to the basic principles, this class focuses on vision, leadership, and business value. What is the CSM Exam like?

The test consists of a combination of multiple-choice and true/false questions. It will take approximately 60 minutes to complete it. You’ll be required to demonstrate your understanding of key Scrum elements, including:

    • General Scrum Knowledge
    • Scrum Roles
    • Scrum Meetings
    • Scrum Artifacts

All of the topics on the exam will be covered during class. The cost of the test is included in the cost of your Scrum Master course. The exam is pass/fail and there are two free attempts paid by the trainer. The  the third attempt costs $25. The exam must be taken within 90 days of attending the course.

Attendees of Scrum Alliance certified courses are eligible to receive a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation. Certification requires attending a two-day class from a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). Candidates must complete both days and miss no more than 2 hours of class to receive certification.

How do I become a CSP?

Candidates for the Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) program must have a CSM, CSPO, or CSD credential and minimum of 12 months (or 2,000 hours) of experience using Scrum in the workplace over the last 2 years. This includes leading or working on a Scrum team in any role.

Once this experience has been logged, candidates must submit an application and sit for a proctored exam. Candidates that pass the exam must read and accept the CSP License Agreement to complete the process. The CSP credential will be valid for two years from the date you pass the CSP exam. The fee for applying is $300. For additional questions please contact certification@scrumalliance.org.
