Kim teaches, coaches and works with teams to conquer big things by breaking them into small pieces. She has always focused on delivering the right things for her customers in the simplest way. She has experience in the credit, health care, pharmacy and industrial sectors. She started her journey of process improvement with Lean in 2000 and Scrum in 2008.
While away from work, you can find Kim on her next outdoor adventure skiing, backpacking/hiking, paragliding, scuba diving or maybe something else.

Dan LeFebvre is a Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC). He has over twenty years experience in software product development as a developer, manager, director, and coach. He has been applying agile practices to successfully deliver products since 2003.
Dan contributes to the agile community by presenting at Scrum Gatherings, agile conferences, and agile user groups around the country.

Avi brings his unique experiences as a former science educator, stock broker, and small business owner to each Scrum training he facilitates. Avi sees Scrum as THE key framework to be implemented in any business in order to increase sales and gain a competitive advantage in a rapidly changing marketplace. Avi lives in Brooklyn. He before it was cool. He also teaches Tai Chi.
Founder, Principal Consultant, and Trainer
Jeff is the inventor and co-creator of Scrum. He is a West Point graduate, former fighter pilot, and cancer researcher, as well as, CTO of eleven different software companies. He launched the first Scrum team in 1993 and has shepherded its growth into almost every industry: finance, healthcare, higher education, and telecom. His most recent book is Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time.
Scrum Master, Trainer & Coach
Alex is a Scrum trainer and coach who was first exposed to agile software development in 2000 at Thoughtworks, where he was fortunate enough to rub elbows with multiple future authors of the Agile Manifesto. Since 2008 he has used Scrum to build software both as a lead developer and entrepreneur. He has found Scrum to be transformative on projects ranging from financial risk systems to DIY gaming platforms. Alex is a digital nomad who has traveled literally around the globe, living in nine different countries while only getting food poisoning in three.
Scrum Coach, Trainer
Alex specializes in developing customized Scrum programs tailored to the unique needs of individual clients. She is an energetic, creative teacher and a disciplined Scrum Master for one of our internal teams. After nearly a decade working on Capitol Hill, she understands that systems-level change is not about top-down mandates. Rather it's driven by human connections which help to ensure everyone is motivated towards a single purpose.
In her spare time, Alex enjoys staying current on public policy and refining her wine knowledge.
Brian "ponch" Rivera
Coach & Trainer
Brian “Ponch” Rivera’s journey to coaching Agile organizations and teams consists of cross-cutting experiences in human factors, sensemaking, OODA loops, and Red Teaming. Before entering the world of Agile, “Ponch” worked in carrier aviation and political-military affairs, where he had more than 1,500 documented retrospectives and was an instructor and coach in one of the most volatile, complex, and ambiguous environments in the world. This experience taught him the power that immersion, empathy, and narrative have on satisfying the needs of a dissimilar population.
Product Owner, Trainer & Coach
Patrick leads Scrum Inc.'s Capability Assessment Team and has helped teams in manufacturing, banking, and operations to leverage Scrum. He enjoys applying agile practices to improve team performance in all industries. As a Product Owner at Scrum Inc., Patrick helps set our strategic direction and is a servant leader to Scrum Inc.'s internal operations.
President of Hardware and Enterprise Coach
Joe is the inventor of Scrum Hardware and the eXtreme Manufacturing technical practices which support it. He teaches globally to credential Scrum Hardware Trainers in his methods and collaborates to improve those methods. He is a Certified Scrum Trainer and performs as an executive during agile transformations. Joe’s work is most recently featured in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and the book Scrum Hardware.

Kevin mastered the art of communication during his three decades working in radio broadcasting at WGBH and Clear Channel, as talent, producer, and director. His experience as a trainer, coach, and facilitator at Harvard University helped leadership develop emotional intelligence for success and happiness; key elements of Scrum. As a Marine, Kevin learned how to respond to change. He was brought to Scrum Inc. to help organizations change the way they work and think.
Kevin is pursuing his Social Science degree at the Harvard University Extension School. Kevin is an improvising poet and thinks deeply about the space-time continuum.
Coach & Trainer
Dave has experience starting Scrum in an organization from the ground up. This inspired his passion for helping other teams make themselves awesome.
Dave's background is in digital hardware design. Dave spent two years in the trenches as an embedded Scrum master and eventual coach of 5 teams at Tait Electronics in New Zealand. In his spare time, Dave goes on little adventures like hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Chief Product Owner, Coach & Trainer
JJ is a Certified Scrum Trainer as well as a consultant focusing on Scrum in defense, journalism, and services organizations. As Chief Product Owner of Scrum Inc., JJ is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. He is also the co-author of Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time.
Before joining Scrum Inc. he was a journalist for NPR. His coverage of Iraq, Afghanistan and the Arab Spring won every award in broadcast journalism.
Coach & Trainer
McCaul is a constant student of servant leadership and has been coaching teams on self-organization as an embedded scrum master since 2011. His teams have delivered value in many forms including federal enterprise applications, mobile apps, product launches, and editorial content. He has a passion for coaching high-performing teams and changing the world of work with Scrum.
When he isn’t training or coaching, he works as an actor in the Washington, DC area.
